For my Model Making class in the Spring of 2013, we were asked to create a form that exuded speed. My influences for this piece included the hood ornaments of antique Buicks, Oldsmobiles, and Cadillacs, Captain Nemo's ship The Nautilus: Sword of the Ocean in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and of course, the N-1 Naboo Royal Starfighter from Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.

For my Model Making class in the Spring of 2013, I was asked to design a simple smart phone or choose an existing one and then create a realistic model of it.
I based my design on the iPhone, but took a tactically functional and Army Ranger- ready approach. The handle is inspired by the handle found on the Rangers' tactical rifle magazines for quick and easy reloading.
